Became known, the minimum amount of physical activity to stay healthy

Scientists at Taiwan’s National research Institute of health has identified the minimum amount of physical activity needed to maintain their body in good shape.

During the experiment, involving more than 400 000 people and lasted 8 years, experts examined the activity levels of the subjects and found that the participants who pledge moderate physical activity on average about 15 minutes a day had a 14% les likely to die over the 8-year follow-up period than those who did not.

On average, physically active people had a lifespan of 3 years more than others. According to statistics, at least one out of every nine deaths from cancer among the inactive portion of the subjects could have been avoided if these people were basic daily activity.

The experts concluded that even 15 minutes of daily moderate exercise will be very useful for the health and well-being. Moreover, regular activity has a positive effect even if the person smokes, drinks alcohol, suffering from diabetes or hypertensive – said the leader of the experiment Profesor Chi pang Wen. To moderate exertion scholars suggest that even the usual half-hour walk at a quick pace. Nevertheles, a third of adults and teenagers in the world do not adhere to even these basic requirements.
